Yayasan Prima Unggul (YPU)
The foundation that students will engage in is a children’s home that promotes the arts and entrepreneurship. Most of the children and youth come from Flores Island and Papua, which are parts of Indonesia with the highest level of poverty. Yet, the children at the organisation are extremely confident, vocal, and entrepreneurial.
The Foundation provides opportunities for talent development of students through learning opportunities to produce different types of food, and learning a variety of business skills. Students are trained and have real experience with the entrepreneurial world, with the aim that the students have the skill to survive and thrive, and become change-makers and creator of jobs for their own community, when they leave the foundation.
Join students in their various business units: food catering, traditional music making, upcycling workshops
Enjoy student’s performances and hear their stories of empowerment and dreams for the future
